Sometimes I really hate language learning, as a trans person just because, ok I figured out pronouns in my own language/cultural sphere, but things work differently in this other one, and people don't even see me as my gender in English where I can explain things well. In a second language, they'll just think I'm making mistakes because I'm obviously not fluent.

[also yeah same, aside from not even being in the same galaxy as gender discourse/developments in japan (language and culture) and so having a pretty poor toolset to crowbar in my gender identity (uk edition) ]
